ANUNDSJÖ'S PERSON OF THE YEAR

Every year, Bygdsam Anundsjö awards the award "Anundsjö person of the year" to someone or some people who do or have done something good for Anundsjö. We accept nominations within a set time that is announced in the spring where you nominate the person you think deserves the award. For example, it can be someone / someone who...

  • is an everyday hero

  • is a real enthusiast

  • done something for all or part of Anundsjö

  • been involved in something for a long time and worked quietly

  • made a heroic effort

  • simply done something good!

They do not necessarily have to be living in Anundsjö at the moment, but the connection must exist. The prize consists of a trophy "Stora A", a diploma and a sum of money. The award takes place on Bredbydagen
(If Bredbydagen does not take place, the prize will be awarded on another occasion, which will be announced via Bygdsam Anundsjö's social media).

When there is a call for nominations, it is YOU who nominates the candidates,
then the jury selects the winner(s). The nomination MUST contain the name, address, telephone number and age of the candidate(s), as well as the name and contact details of you as the nominator. Justify and tell us on a maximum of one A4 what the person(s) have done
and why they deserve the award.

2025 Daglig Verksamhet Bredbyn
Daglig Verksamhet Bredbyn is awarded Anundsjöare of the Year 2025 for their fantastic commitment and ability to make a real difference to Bredbyn's outdoor environment. Through their meticulous work in cleaning and maintaining central Bredbyn , they create a clean and inviting environment for both residents and visitors. The square, the playground, the school grounds and Olympia are examples of places that are kept in top condition thanks to their efforts. The good work that Daglig Verksamhet Bredbyn does is often invisible to many, but the results speak for themselves - their efforts make a difference every day and help to make Bredbyn a better place for us all.

2024 Patrik Eriksson
You have been involved in so many things and have been active in social issues concerning Anundsjö for a long time. You have been involved in changes and improvements. With your knowledge and drive, you have participated in many large and small projects that benefit Anundsjö. Some examples are the new Anundsjö school, Olympia, the carpool parking, the operation of the gym with its property and Tjärnstugan. You were involved in starting both Anundsjö framtid and Bygdsam Anundsjö, where you are a confident, driven and courageous chairman. You can say that it is not stuck when you are involved in deciding things, then it happens. Your Anundsjö heart is big, because as you yourself once said, when asked which was your favorite place in Anundsjö; - "My favorite place in Anundsjö is all the 2629sqm that make up the Anundsjö area"

2023 Sofie Kristofersson
A fantastic chairman of AIF Skidsektion. Coordinates, structures and leads the activities in an impressive way, which has meant that Anundsjö's skiing activities have grown enormously in recent years and now during the 2022-2023 season, over 100 children have participated in the skiing activities! Leads an inclusive activity for our children and young people in Anundsjö where everyone (both children and leaders) gets a chance for personal development in skiing. Is not only chairman but is involved in the training and sweats and fights with children and leaders.

2023 Olle Fjeldseth
A valuable young chairman of Anundsjö IF. The spider in the web around the long-awaited major renovation up at Olympia. A lot of time has been required and many more hours will be spent up there to make it run smoothly for both volunteers and craftsmen, as many volunteers have been inspired to help, and which to give the best results, must be managed and given space. So valuable for the whole of Anundsjö that the assembly hall and sports hall Olympia will be new! In addition to a fantastic commitment in the role of chairman, where many hours and thoughts and fixes take place in secret, time and work is also put in as a leader in several sports for their own and others' children.

2022 Jonas Byström
Jonas is a priest and a fantastic role model for young people in Anundsjö, both at Anundsjö School and in the young people's free time. Through social media and conversations IRL, he is present in their everyday lives with everything from EPA tractors, cooked coffee, Trocadero, God faith, beaver hunting and outdoor life.
