Lace up your boots and experience the power of nature
Some 9400 years ago, when ice lay thick across our landscape, an ice river plunged into the valley and carved out the bedrock. The result was stockholmsgatorna, a magnificent canyon 50 meters deep and 1.5 km long.
Experience the magical setting of a pitch-black pond on a windless day - completely mirror-like, idyllically nestled between vertically plunging walls. A path leads you around the pond and a round in the forest.
The trail starts at the bathing area in Långsele and takes you on a beautiful hike through forest and over mountains, further towards Långsele Fäbod. The hike is 5.2 km and partly tough. Perhaps you sleep over in the shed before starting the hike back.
Experience the feeling of wilderness and rich cultural environments. Spend the night in Kunskapsskogen and enjoy the silence and the beautiful wilderness.
Around Anundsjö Vildmark there are several nature reserves and a national park for you to discover in peace and quiet. Magnificent marshes filled with cloudberry flowers, breathtaking canyons with vertical walls, night-black lakes and a myriad of life welcome you.
Enjoy the view from a peak
Enjoy the view of Lake Anundsjösjön and the surrounding villages. And by all means, don't forget to pack your lunch. There is a shelter with a barbecue area at the top. 20-30min hike.
Visit the Storklocken nature reserve and walk to the picnic hut with its bench table and fireplace. There you get a wonderful view of Lake Anundsjösjön, Bredbyn and the northern and southern Anundsjöån. Take road 917 south from Bredbyn. When you have passed over the railroad, turn right onto a small forest road. After just over 2.5 km on this, a worse road goes to the left, up a steep hill. The safest thing to do is to park at this junction because of the bad road and walk the short, last bit up to the turnaround and information board."
Kubbeberget
Hike up to Kubbeberget and enjoy the view. Park at the square and start your hike along Hädanbergsvägen. After a few hundred meters - turn left into the forest and follow the signs.
At 594 meters above sea level, Solberget is the highest mountain in the municipality. If you climb the fire tower, you have a fantastic 360-degree view.
Glide along the water in a canoe
The canoe trail passes through an old cultural landscape with varying elements of both forest and farmland. The river winds its way and offers bathing-friendly sand beds both here and there.
Feel the wings of history
Visit the homestead's summer café and take part in Anundsjö's cultural history.
Östansjö fäbodar consists of seven cottages. There is a footbridge made of floating moss over the lake.
Experience a turn-of-the-century atmosphere in a rural setting.
At the old farm in Myckelgensjö there are about thirty buildings preserved from the old farm that dates back to the 16th century.
Enjoy the views from this stunning headland and browse the old buildings that stand there.
Visit Myckelgensjö's old sheepfold with a view of beautiful Myckelgensjön. One of the sheepfolds is a public resting place.
Solberg's church is modeled on the stave church with Sami elements.
Take a refreshing dip
Along the headland there is a lovely sandy beach and a shallow bottom. An ice cream kiosk and toilets are available during the high season.

Outdoor heated pool with three pools and slides. There is a playground next to the pool.
Lake bathing at the end of Lake Anundsjösjön at the mouth of the Moälven River. Shallow beach suitable for families.
Långsele Bathing place
Långsele bathing area, located by the Södra Anundsjöån river, is the perfect place for those who want to take a refreshing bath. Here you can also enjoy the village sauna and relax by a fire in the barbecue ring.
Go on a flea market tour
Large second-hand shop in Gottne with café. NBC also has a branch in Bredbyn on Köpmangatan 24.

Visit the old farmhouse on the south side of Sörflärke and find your flea market bargain.
Flea market at the lodge at Rättargården. There is also a turn-of-the-century café and Modo Museum.
Play and laugh
Skorpeds Playground
The playground is next to the forest and has a cozy barbecue area with bench tables. The playground is found on the right along the highway when you pass Skorped towards Lännäs.
Mellansel Playground
Play in the large playground in Mellansel , suitable for children aged 3-12. There are picnic tables for those who want a snack. Badhusvägen 1, Mellansel.
Bredbyn Playground
In the middle of the center at Åbadet there is a playground for the little ones and benches for the elderly to rest on. A nice generational meeting place with coffee and barbecue facilities.
Swing your rod and try your luck at fishing
In Anundsjö and the surrounding area there are fantastic fishing waters and there is a great deal of interest from both the fisheries conservation association and fishermen.

In Lillsjön, Myckelgensjö, there is a natural population of trout and char and here is a 6-bed overnight cottage for rent next to the lake with a view of it. There is also a shelter with barbecue areas.
In Anundsjö Vildmark there are many wonderful lakes to visit to test your fishing luck. With the sun in your face and the rod in your hand, both the excitement and the enjoyment of the peaceful moment can begin.
