Families appreciate our fine preschools and village schools, where children are safe and close to nature right from the start. Bredbyn has the modern Anundsjöskolan (upper secondary school), built in 2018, and our schools have committed and competent teachers.

Health care is of high quality. Our health center in Bredbyn was named Örnsköldsvik's best in 2022, and our BVC nurse Annika is a firm favorite among many parents.

Active leisure - all year round

Families with children love our clubs and associations. There's something for everyone: skiing, football, hockey, gymnastics, orienteering and much more. In winter we go sledging, cross-country skiing and slalom, and in summer we swim at lakes and beaches - often without crowds.
