Myckelgensjö is beautifully situated by Lake Myckelgensjö in the southern Anundsjöån valley. Here you will find Gammelgården, one of Sweden's best preserved farmhouses, which stands in the middle of the village with a fantastic view of the lake. During the summer you can enjoy the lovely view together with a cup of coffee and a thin bread sandwich when the village association is open for coffee.
If you want something to take with you, you can buy coffee at Lanthandeln and take it with you to Långnäset. There you can have a coffee at one of the bench tables on display or at a shelter at the water's edge. On the headland you can walk a fairytale trail, experience old houses and maybe take a dip. There are also barbecue areas where you can cook something good to eat.
