Myckelgensjö is located by Lake Myckelgensjö in the southern Anundsjöån valley. Here you will find Gammelgården, one of Sweden's best preserved farms, standing in the middle of the village with a wonderful view of the lake. During the summer you can enjoy the view together with a cup of coffee and a thin bread sandwich, then the village association is open for coffee. Or buy coffee at Lanthandeln to take to Långnäset and have coffee at one of the bench tables that are on display or at a shelter at the water's edge. Out there on the cape you can walk the fairytale trail, experience old houses and maybe take a dip. Perhaps you grill something good over one of the barbecue stations.
