Bredbyn - the heart of Anundsjö

Bredbyn, which is Anundsjö's central town, is home to around 1,300 people, and there are around 4,100 inhabitants in the whole of Anundsjö. Here you will find all the services you need to live a good and rich life in the countryside.

In the village you will find our newly built F9 school, Anundsjöskolan, which also houses a library. A large and bright school with a fantastic outdoor environment, where competent and cordial staff create that cozy village school feeling, especially in the smaller grades. There is also a swimming pool and a sports hall on the school grounds.

Anundsjö IF, with the Olympia sports ground, offers activities in skiing, biathlon, football, hockey and dancing - with an illuminated track and artificial grass pitch for anyone who wants to get moving.

For shopping, there are our local shops where you can find clothes, shoes, gifts, toys, everything for leisure and pets, as well as builders' merchants and craftsmen for all your home needs. You can also eat well in the restaurants, go for after-work drinks or treat yourself to a treatment at one of the salons when you want to look your best.

We also have a health center, dental clinic and pharmacy - and a fire station and ambulance station that are close by and ready to respond when we need them most.
